>> New Danyew Song Is FREE iTunes Discovery Download
Danyew's "Wake Up" is featured this week on iTunes' Discovery Download! Click here to download the song for free!
Each week iTunes offers a free track they think is worth your attention, and we would agree that Danyew is worth
paying attention to! As iTunes mentions, 'audiences packing David Crowder*Band shows were recently treated to the rising
artist. Instead of wandering away to the merch stands, concertgoers showered Danyew with appreciation for this thoughtful
and orchestral rock, which recalls Coldplay, U2, and Radiohead. Built on a piano melody, "Wake Up" is a plea to be
productive that's big on atmosphere and wide in scope.'
Danyew's full Wake Up EP is available now wherever you buy digital music including
iTunes and Amazon. The EP features the title track "Wake Up" as well as 2 additional new tracks. (from Sparrow Records)
>> The Showdown Drops Off Tour With Oh, Sleeper And Impending Doom
Below is an important announcement from The Showdown...
With regards to the band's upcoming tour with Oh Sleeper and Impending Doom, The Showdown's Jeremiah Scott had this to say:
"To all our fans...
We are truly sorry that we must drop off the Impending Doom/ Oh Sleeper tour. At the very last minute our drummer, Yogi, has had some serious family issues that need his attention. We were looking forward to tearing up the asphalt with friends from the bands as well as tearing riffs for our fans. We have kept a steady tour schedule all year long and plan to kick right back into it once our record is finished by February of next year. We appreciate all who have offered their support, thoughts, and prayers while Yogi goes through this tough time. See you back on the road in a few months.
The Showdown"
Be sure to stay tuned on the band's Myspace for any and all news on The Showdown. Thanks!

"James Cameron described his film Aliens as '50 miles of bad road'. When thinking of a way to explain Nevada, his description comes to mind. In the spirit of surprise, I won't give away anything that hasn't already been said about the book other than what my editor had to say about it: it is 'quite the wild ride'. This story is unusual to say the least, and i couldn't be happier with it." -Josh Dies
Watch Josh's Myspace and facebook pages for announcements and more info on Josh's writing.

>> NEEDTOBREATHE Plan For Spring Headlining Tour
In response to the success of their Fall Tour, the band writes, "We just finished up our fall run of The Outsiders Live tour. This was by far the most successful tour we’ve ever done. It was amazing to see so many of you coming out every night in so many different cities. When all was said and done, over two-thirds of the tour sold out! The one drawback of so many sold out shows is that there were a lot of you that didn’t get to see us this time around. So we’re doing it again in the spring! Plans are already in the works for our next headlining tour, starting in March. We’ll be coming back around to most of the cities we played this fall and a few places we missed. The venues are gonna be larger this time around, so make sure y’all keep telling everyone you know, and even random people on the street, about our band! The dates should be finalized soon, and we’ll post them as soon as we can. We’ll see y’all soon! - Joe"
The band's song "Nothing Left To Lose" was also recently featured in the film trailer for "Extraordinary Measures" (PG),
starring Brendan Fraser and Harrison Ford, due out in January. Click here to view it!
>> Project 86 Collects Footage For Live Project
A recent Project 86 blogged revealed plans for an upcoming live project (sounds like video? Or perhaps both?)...
"We are wrapping up our last few shows on this run and battling the crazy flu infestation that has struck the tour. We've had a good time playing with our friends in Disciple and Children 18:3. Currently we are on the bus watching some random zombie movie and lamenting the lack of cell phone towers in this region of the country. We had never been to most of the cities on this run so its been really great meeting new fans and friends. The people up here = nice.
We have been gathering a lot of HD footage for an upcoming live project in the works and it looks like we are headed to Europe in December. Keep checking back here for updates on shows.
In other news: Schwab's new book Fame Is Infamy is available for pre-order now and is releasing on November 27th! Check out project86.com for more details.
Stay tuned as always for news, vodcasts, tour dates and all other P86 happenings."
>> Update From Spoken...
Check out the latest on Spoken...
Several people have sent us email asking on how the search for a new tour van is going, and to be honest it’s not going well at the moment. All of the vans that we’re coming across are either to old and run down, not heavy duty enough, or just plain out of our price range. We’re not giving up, but it is a tiring process and even now we’re out on the road until Thanksgiving in a borrowed van (Thanks to our good buds in Kingsdown) with borrowed gear (thanks to our new buds in Burning Yesterday) because the van we’re borrowing isn’t heavy duty enough to pull our massive amount of gear that’s in our oversized trailer. So needless to say our situation is pretty dyer on the van front. And I say these things not to sound bleak and throw a pitty party for Spoken, but to just let those who are interested know what’s up. So you ask, “What’s being done to rectify the situation and what can I do to help out Jef?” I’m so glad you thought to ask, thank you. We’re in the process of saving what money we can and also accepting donations so once we find a van that’s suitable we can either pay for it outright (best situation) or put a down payment on one (not the best).
So if you would like to help us out you can either send your donation via PayPal to: jefspoken@gmail.com, or you can even mail your donation to: SPOKEN 1909 Lawndale Dr. Spring Hill, TN 37174.
We also have a link on the Spoken Myspace that will lead you through the process. Any donation what-so-ever will help us along to reaching our goal of buying a new tour vehicle. So far we’ve managed to save and receive over $3,500.00 which by it’s self is a decent down payment but if we could get to the $7,000.00 mark that would be the best possible situation so we wouldn’t have to worry about financing a vehicle.
Now that’s out of the way
Spoken is out on the road right now on the “To Vegas and Back” Tour with Burning Yesterday. This will be Spoken’s last tour of the year 2009, and we want to send this old man off with a bang so it would be rad if you could come to any of the shows and say “what up”.
To Vegas and Back Tour featuring Spoken and Burning Yesterday:
Nov. 18th Salt Lake City, UT
Nov. 19th St. George, UT
Nov. 20th Las Vegas, NV
Nov. 21st Parhump, NV

To Celebrate this final tour of the year 2009 (and to move some of our leftover merch) we’ve created the Spoken Grab BIN where shirts are only $8.00. Be thinking Christmas here people, think a Spoken T-Shirt it’s a cheep cool gift that just oozes with love and holiday cheer.
